There’s something happening for every member of the family, young and old, this weekend in Birmingham.
Children will love watching The Snowman as he flies across the stage at Birmingham REP whilst there’s full-throttle motorcross action at the Genting Arena as part of the Monster Energy Arenacross Tour.
For those looking for something to do on a budget, there’s a free drop-in dreamcatcher workshop at South Yardley Library and we’ve got lots of lovely museum ideas too.
Always book in advance or check timings to avoid disappointment.
The Snowman at Birmingham REP
The Snowman has been delighting young and old alike for over two decades with its wonderful mix of storytelling, spectacle and magic.
Now, it returns to Birmingham Repertory Theatre from January 20 to 24 following a successful 18th festive year in London’s West End.
Based on Raymond Briggs’ book and featuring Howard Blake’s much-loved score, The REP’s production has been seen by over half a million people since it first came to the stage.
Suitable for all ages, The Snowman is the perfect introduction to theatre for the very young.
Tickets start at around £15 and there’s an audio-described performance on Sunday January 24.
