Tuck into a free morning of musical entertainment with the family at 10.30am on Saturday, January 16 at the Symphony Hall Café Bar.
Watch and join in with performers as they introduce children to a world of music, song, storytelling and dance in association with Mubu Music.
Recommended for ages 0-7.
Take a winter walk

Free Singing Workshop with Birmingham Opera Company
There’s a free singing workshop for 16 to 25-year-olds at The Bond, Fazeley Street, Digbeth on Sunday, January 17 from 2pm to 6pm.
There are no auditions and no previous experience needed.
The Birmingham Opera Company is looking for volunteer singers for its new British opera Dido and Aeneas.
The organisation also runs regular sessions where young arts enthusiasts work towards Arts Award qualifications.

Snow Child at the mac
Enjoy a magical story about family, love and the power of dreams on Sunday, January 17 at the mac at 11am and 2pm.
Watching the village children play, a lonely couple yearn for a child of their own. They build a small figure from the ice and snow, and wish very, very hard… until the strength of their longing brings the magical snow child to life before their eyes!
But it’s not easy bringing up a daughter of the blizzards and the wind. As the seasons turn, will the Snow Child and her parents find their “happily ever after”?
Emma Reeves’ new play follows her adaptation of Jacqueline Wilson’s Hetty Feather (West End) and her TV triumphs Tracy Beaker and the Dumping Ground as well as her new up and coming show Eve.
